Fritz Winter invests in a sustainable future
Last Monday, Managing Director Ralf von Hörsten and Markus Semmler, Head of Plant Planning and Environmental Protection, presented Fritz Winter's forward-looking investment plans at a municipal council meeting in Stadtallendorf. More than 300 million euros will flow into the site in the coming years.
The focus of our strategy is on eco solutions, which cover three central areas: ecoCasting, ecoCoating and ecoMelting. With these innovative processes, we are reducing the consumption of resources, saving considerable amounts of drinking water and significantly lowering CO2 emissions. In fall 2024, one of the largest electric crucible furnace systems in Europe will go into operation. This will enable us to significantly reduce emissions and take a major step towards sustainability.
In addition to investing in advanced technologies, we attach great importance to our qualified employees, who make a decisive contribution to our commitment to sustainability and environmental protection. We look forward to sharing these exciting developments with you and continuing our journey towards a sustainable future.
